How To Nail The First Dance.

This is something that I think some people build up and over-complicate when they don’t need to. I know there are videos on social media of couples whirling enthusiastically through the Dirty Dancing routine or bridal parties unexpectedly turning into the Pussycat Dolls but there is absolutely no reason to put this sort of pressure on yourself if you don’t want to.

If you’re the sort of person that’s dreading having to plan and learn something way out of your comfort zone or you’re worried that it won’t be a special enough moment unless you do something crazy - I’m here to tell you there’s a simple solution…

HUG AND ROTATE. Easy.

Some of the most romantic and emotional first dances I’ve seen have just been two people who love each other, standing as close as can be, swaying to their favourite song in front of their friends and family.

Just close it all down until it’s just the two of you. Take your time. Enjoy it.

You’re there for you. Not to perform for everyone else.

Everyone else will be on the dance floor with you before you know it.
